About

About the studio

Stoneware for the everyday table

Orzanta is an independent ceramics studio located in the United States. The studio was founded by a potter who spent a decade making one-off pieces for galleries and wanted to make things people would actually eat off instead.

We work from a single workshop with two wheels and one kiln. Clay comes from a regional supplier, glazes are mixed in-house from raw materials, and every piece is handled from wet clay to finished glaze by the same small team.

The purpose of this site is to introduce the studio before the first collection is released. You can read about our process, follow the journal and contact us with questions. We are not taking orders and nothing is for sale here.

What this website is

An introduction, not a storefront

Orzanta uses this site to present the collection under development, explain our process and keep an open journal. You will not find a cart, a checkout or prices here, because we are not selling anything yet.

When the collection is released, this site will say so plainly. Until then, you are welcome to read, browse and get in touch.
